GUBUG has been invited to participate at the UTOSC ‘09! A booth has been secured and GUBUG representatives will be on-site for the duration of the event to answer questions about the BSD family of operating systems and its derivatives.
Early bird registration has expired, but there is still time to sign up! Please visit http://attend.utosc.com/ to do so.
A GUBUG meeting will be held at 12:30pm on October 8. The tentative topic for this meeting is “What’s New in FreeBSD.” We will also have some free (as in free) BSD goodies to give away at this meeting, so be sure to come!
While a registration and fee are required to attend the rest of the conference, admission to this meeting is free for all GUBUG members.
Immediately following the GUBUG meeting at 1:45pm, a unique opportunity to take the BSDA Certification Exam will be offered. Details about this event are available at http://2009.utosc.com/presentation/142/. Exam participants must register for a BSDCG ID at https://register.bsdcertification.org//register/get-a-bsdcg-id.
The BSDA is currently the certification for BSD administration. Do not miss this opportunity to become BSD certified!
This conference will definitely be a blast. There are some very worthy presentations, keynotes, workshops, and Birds of a Feather sessions scheduled.
Hope to see you all there!
