That is Great!
Actually Dru's book BSD hacks is already published by a Retailer for
Rs/INR 375 ( 10% discount available for all prices here ) ( 1 USD
approximately equals 45 Rs/INR )
Contacting Michael proved difficult in the begining.
But Dru did contact him ( so sweet of her ) and she asked me to
contact the publisher Nostarch.
The publisher was extremly friendly I have to say an we have the
following books also on BSDs
Michael Lucas
Absolute BSD: The Ultimate Guide to FreeBSD
Cover : Rs. 450
Michael W Lucas
Absolute OpenBSD: UNIX for the Practical Paranoid
Cover : Rs. 400
Also now this one is also available :-)
Yanek Korff
Mastering Freebsd and Openbsd Security
Cover : Rs. 425
When I started using BSDs the only BSD book available in the country was
The Complete Reference FreeBSD and
DESIGN AND IPLEMENTATION OF THE 4.4 BSD OPERATING SYSTEM ( too costly
for students )
Now there are more.
Also I hope that the MetaBUG will be a *MetaRESOURCE* for all those
who want to get certified through the BSD Certification program too
:-)
Kind Regards
Siju
