Personally, I think Dillon is limiting HAMMER's usefulness by focusing
solely on the clustering goals of DragonFlyBSD. But it's his system, he
can do what he pleases.

ZFS is robust in the way it handles disaster recovery. It has a very
impressive array of features that were written from scratch to avoid the
traditional limitations of inode-based storage. Conversely, HAMMER is
focused on avoiding disasters in the first place. A heady goal, but an
admirable one.
